Safety tip from retired Fire Chief Safety First Wet leaves are slippery so remove them from sidewalks, walkways, and porch steps. When raking leaves be sure to wear thick work gloves to protect your hands against splinters and blisters. When lifting heavy bags full of wet leaves, use your legs and knees to lift rather than your back. |
